As a budding soda can collector, I figured I should brush up on a little soda history. Below are six birthdays (or simply birthday year) of some of my favorite sodas. Now that I know the birthdays, I have an excuse to justify buying them on certain days of the year!
Coca-Cola: May 8th, 1886
Brad's Drink (Later renamed the ubiquitous Pepsi): August 28th, 1898
Mountain Dew: 1940
Sprite: 1961
Diet Coke: August 6th, 1982
Vanilla Coke: May 15th, 2002
